Who I talked to
For the last 8 months I've been writing down everyone I talk to in a day (in person or over the phone). I turned this into an animated D3 network that plays back those seven months day by day. Each dot is one of 274 people, sized by how often we talked and colored by relationship, with lines connecting people who know each other.

Wikipedia Edit Viewer
I made this for my visualization studio class, building it around my interest in how Wikipedia articles deal with breaking news. It follows the Boston Marathon bombing article through the first four days after the attack. Each dot on the timeline is one edit. Click through them to see what changed, who made the change, and why. Green dots mark moments when editors argued over what does and doesn't belong in an encyclopedia.
